All new Apple iOS 7


Call it an "Innovation" or an "Innovation at rapid speed", point is same. "The technology".

Companies try new things and new challenges giving inspirations to one another in terms of revolution and research and development from their various products.
One such major company is Apple and its product iOS7, which is the latest version of iOS, debuted in 2007. It's time for Apple now to redesign their operating system and is nowhere related to the previous versions. Rumors have been passed through weeks about the new OS and now it's here showcasing the massive change for the six year old operating system.
According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, iOS 7 is the biggest change since the iPhone was introduced five years ago. The new design has everything from slimmer fonts, sharper flatter icons, new control panel, new animations etc.

Lets look at the first impressions on new design and new features of iOS7:

USER INTERFACE

Home and Lock screen
Biggest change that Apple has brought in iOS. The moment you switch your phone on, you will notice all new different phone. Locking and unlocking is changed for the first time in iOS's history.
Slide to unlock is translucent above the background image instead of white bars on a black background and also have fade in/fade out effect.
Keyboard
The keyboard is also upgraded and is semi-transparent, letting you see below each key whatever you are viewing. It is meant to give context to the rest of the user interface and also helps give the illusion that there is more screen space to play with.

Folders
Folders has the same transparent motif as the keyboard, so they open up over your background like Android does rather than splitting it in half. It also support multiple pages, so you can stick as many apps as you like into one folder which is also multitasking.
Control center
Control center is the new name for swipe up menu. It gives quick access to normally used functions and lets you adjust basic settings like music, Wi-Fi, flashlight, bluetooth, airplane mode, screen brightness and a lot more, which iOS users has been waiting for this feature for a long time.

Multitasking
When you want to multitask, iOS 7 also does.
Upgrade is done for multitasking with support for all apps. Apple also said that new feature lets the update of apps run in the background without affecting battery life. Push notifications now activate apps to update in the background so that apps are always updated with new content and there is no more waiting for them to refresh when you open. It also has smart features to update particular apps during particular times of the day or when the wireless coverage is high.

APPS

Weather 
Weather app is the best example of the new update and design. it runs on full screen rather than in a small window.



There is also animated background which shows the weather such as clouds, rain etc.
Safari
Safari got a big revamp too. It has improved full screen browsing, gesture based navigation, 3d tab switching behavior, improved bookmarking, single tap access to favorites, and also Twitter integration which lets you see which links your Twitter friends are reading and sharing. Type a search term and Safari will show you a long list of related information, just like Google Instant.


AirDrop
AirDrop is a new feature in iOS 7 which helps in sharing content with other iOS users through the control center. This is Apple's answer to Samsung's group sharing features and the tap based sharing. It supports on iPhone 5, fifth-generation iPod touch, fourth-generation iPad, and iPad mini.
Camera and photo Sharing.

Messages
Very similar to the previous iOS, messages in iOS 7 uses a simple blue and grey color palette which helps to highlight text. Swipe left to right in messages and the app will open up your received messages list, scroll the opposite way and it will close them back down.
Camera and Photo Sharing
The camera has been improved and the app lets you swipe various camera types, such as HDR or panorama, so that pictures can be taken easily without fumbling around on settings.
Photos are organized based on time, date and location and can also provide an overview of all the pictures taken in a particular years.


It also has gesture based pop up previews of images by sliding your finger across the rid on images.
Users can share via AirDrop, iCloud photo-sharing, as well as shared Photo Streams.
You can even share video with iCloud photo-sharing.
Siri
Siri can speak! yes Siri in iOS 7 has been upgraded with new voices and you can choose from male and female voice with different languages like French, German etc and more languages would be added over time.

Siri can now control the settings such as Bluetooth or controlling screen brightness and also playing back voice-mail messages. The service has also added support for twitter, Wikipedia, Bing and provide more information on queries.
iOS in car
iOS function has been improved in 7 and now it allows to have iOS home screen on the screen of your car and allows to control calls, play music, look for directions with your voice.
AppStore
You can search apps now based on location. For example, it shows you the apps that are popular like french museums apps when you are in France. App store also updates apps for you in the background automatically.

iTunes radio
New music player is one of the biggest upgrades to iOS 7 and also called as iRadio. iTunes radio lets you see the full list of songs and choose songs to listen on demand.
iTunes also has ability to customize radio stations based on particular songs, artists, albums or genres.iTunes radio works on iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iTunes on the Mac and PC.
And more
There are number of other features for iOS 7 which includes Facetime, iMessage blocking phone calls, find My iPhone Activation Lock feature, night Mode in Maps, notification sync and iOS7also has new font which is very skinny and clean and simpler leading the way.

Which devices will get updated to iOS 7?
The new system will be available for the iPhone 5, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4 and iPad mini and iPod touch fifth generation.
