How to Memorize Lines and Prepare for Exams

“If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place.” ~ Nora Roberts
How to Memorize Lines and Prepare for ExamsWhy is everyone different from each other? Memory varies from person to person and every person remembers what they need. Human memory is a congregation of thousands of stories and only remembered through experience.
The key point is that we can recall our life incidents like when we were born, where we studied, where we lived all these years but can we recall what we studied past these years? It’s a big question for our memory to answer. If someone asks you about an incident or a story, “you only tell what you know and you obviously know what you tell”.

Each and every person questions themselves “how to memorize quickly?” or “how to increase memory?” or you may be one of the person thinking you are struck with bad memory. We should learn and memorize as fast as the world is changing and no one wants to step backward either in personal knowledge, exams or competitions.
There are no miracle tablets or diets or process that helps you to increase memory. Everything is stored in our memory but without rehearsal, we cannot recall it. For example, it could be someone’s name or where our car is parked or even we do not remember where we placed our books or keys sometimes. Memorizing everything is just a daily routine that helps mind tuning and eventually helps in quick grasping.

Arrange the information in order which you need to remember so that you will know which is important and what is above or below your memory standards. You can repeat the information which is memorized by exercising your memory again and again.

Break the book or material into manageable share and there would be some lines you don’t understand. Know the meaning of the content you are reading before memorizing it.

You can memorize quickly by chanting out loud and clear from your memory than referring your notes. Repeat repeat repeat!!

If you are visual learner, you can learn using creative pictures and symbols and also use flash cards and you can also create a story from your writings.
Test Yourself: Keep checking yourself to activate your memory. Make sure you know everything and can memorize quickly without looking back to your notes.
