Nokia Lumia 1020 Full Specifications
Nokia’s Lumia 1020 was unveiled during a press conference on Thursday and it is happening to be the most impressive camera phone you’ll never own. The new flagship Lumia handset will feature a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with WXGA resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and a 41-megapixel camera with a xenon flash, optical image stabilization and six available lenses.
The Lumia 1020 sounds impressive indeed, but according to a report from Windows Phone Central, the handset will cost 299$. This might be a fair price for a phone with such an amazing camera.
The Lumia 1020's optically stabilized 41MP image sensor can snap 40MP and 5MP photos at the same time – one straight off the sensor and one after Nokia's Super sampling application. The other 41MP camera phone - 808 PureView can only shoot one or the other at a time.
To make the best out of this beast of a camera, the Nokia ships the Lumia 1020 with its Pro Camera and Smart Camera camera lens apps. They'll allow advanced users fiddle with the camera settings and get the most out of the impressive shooter - there's even a full manual mode, which is a rarity outside prosumer or pro-grade cameras. At the front, there's a secondary 1.2MP wide-angle camera.
